On day 35 of 44 I’m pulling the joker card. Who else would it be? You could never guess what’s next in Budd’s world. I don’t care anymore but I once ran the streets of Washington, DC. What I mean is that I ran 8 miles through the pentagram shaped streets. But I messed up. The finishing look on my Relive app would’ve been me running in the shape of those oddly designed streets in the District of Columbia. There’s a video on my BuddWrites Instagram account of the run. You’ll get what I mean below…

It would hit me today we’re heading into a new decade. Entering this current decade 10 years ago I didn’t expect to see such a great opportunity in 2019. So, I run a lot in appreciation for my good health. And I’ve ran in many different places. I just pull up, put my headphones in and party up hills, dance on the boulevards, and show out because entering this decade even a 3-mile run triggered a migraine.

I grew up getting them and they haunted me for 28 years. I tried everything and doctors said nothing… Prescription pills never worked, drinking ‘more’ water made me vomit even more, and all the online advice ended up wasting my time.

Anyways, I haven’t had a migraine for a while. I can box and later ice bath in peace, run crazy through my hometown streets, weight lift until my muscles start to squeak, and fuck with your expectations because I am not an athlete.

Later this week on BuddTalk’s Podcast I’ll be talking history! Sound boring? Wait until you hear it in between my sax. I’m getting better at that. Listen to the history behind my migraines. The history of the DC streets…

And why the hell I think you all should donate to my dream:) I hate cursing but it’s nearly 2020. How much longer do we give words power over thinking?
