Through haiku I pray.

And no religion to lay.

but hope, faith—each day.

Hope is the hand out.

Take one step despite your fear.

You must trust in self.

Faith is the walk to,

that hand sticking out in dark.

Accept the unseen.

Ask the universe;

for strength in the unchanging.

Thus, your fate bravely.

Seek the universe…

For courage to guide you through.

We’ve read about faith.

Hope lies in belief.

Each thought guiding to relief.

Breathe, speak—become meek.

Grant the world peace, now.

Trust in works and lead each clown.

Faith now takes its bow.

Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, Budd writes to encourage readers to explore the depths of their inner ocean, an unexplored self, because it's fun once you get through the emotional part... "The words we speak become our vehicle; what you read is how I digest them.” -Budd
