The faster someone moves through space, the slower time moves through them. On the contrary, the slower someone moves through space, the faster time will move through them.
First understand that time is an abstracted measurement of space, and it’s relative to the perceiver—which is why the statements above mention time moving through someone.
I can take this a step further to add that when someone is moving through space at a higher speed, their mass increases. This is called kinetic energy—where there’s the standstill weight, plus the weight in motion, or momentum. Before that person, or object began to move, the potential energy was just that, potentially [nothing]. It becomes kinetic energy in motion as the potential is released through acceleration.
I say all this because if you get it, you’re closer to understanding time travel.
