I’ve written over 500k words; blogging, journaling, and now a book. I’m not even including my childhood stories I wrote. Picture 1: Feb 25, 2019 — 30,000 words into book one and on my way to Brazil. After returning from the trip, I come back and lost ALL those words. (Software program crashed) A promise I kept was to be back at Brookfield Place after completing the book. Picture 2: August 4, 2019 — I’m holding proof of the promise I told myself. Maybe it’s post writer’s depression, but I still don’t feel accomplished. For now I thank my beta readers. The story in between the two photos is one for someone else to tell. For now it’s all I have to show. A dream, a promise, and fighting the demons in between. I showed my heart. Never gave up. I’m nothing special.
