About Cousin Ramon, (CSWA)
Born and raised in Portland, Oregon; Ramon still resides in the ever-changing weather of the greater northwest. After graduating from the ‘best’ PIL (Portland Interscholastic League) high school in Portland, Grant High School, Ramon went off to attend the illustrious Historical Black College, Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, Alabama. Tuskegee is where all his debts and dreams were dreaded once he received his honorable Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a focus in social work.
After years of work in the community, Ramon decided to go back to school to collect more debt, enrolling into Portland State University’s Social Work program to earn his master’s in social work. He is currently a therapist and clinical social worker on his way to earning his LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker).
Since graduating 12 years ago, Ramon has worked in various social services roles with adults, young adults, children and families. Ramon also works at a behavioral health hospital to help fund his traveling, better-eating habits, and lifestyle in a world of irrelevant noise.
Needless to say, Ramon loves to travel, meet new people and embrace experiences from all walks of life. He’s a huge fan of Japanese anime and African culture across the diaspora. He plans to travel to Africa in 2019.
Next up for Ramon, he’ll be starting his own travel blog, Melanated Traveling Man! There will also be a YouTube channel where his experiences will be shared.
Ramon is excited to begin this new journey as a black, woke nerd discussing various topics of our generation, culture and history! #MeetingOfTheMinds.
And for Me, ya’ll can read about T.
We’ll be below speaking through radio waves to inspire you.
I built a studio to further show how simple words and understanding can inspire a few.
A lot of people just scroll, unfollow, because it often gets less Likes, so they stop following you.
But I can speak all day on those failing few, because they can be subjective, like split personality dudes.
Read and share my stories; my goal was for them to be significant inspiring worries.
Because they’re just a thought today, an irrelevant turning.
When it speaks it doesn’t shut up!
However, The Stu’ is threw and I’ll speak only when I feel it’ll inspire us true.
Like my father, RIP too…
The people often came to him, he had his too’s
He aspired a preacher’s fool; shout out Home Depot and Lowe’s,
Where I bought most my tools.
But now that my studio is threw, I got mics below to speak and further inspire blacks for what we go through.
