How the wicked succeed,
Through illusions—so pleased.
Their anger, projected,
And failures selective…
Their ending may nearer,
By fears through our districts.
So, watch them, their movement,
Or catch them with doofus,
And worked up on stupid,
…hind’ faces they’ve rented.
Now watch them, their cruelness,
Incompetence, they’re clueless.
How far has this brought them?
I don’t know—they’re toxic.
Obnoxious, can’t watch them,

Néle Azevedo, researcher and independent artist, is the sculptor of the iced men you see sitting on concrete steps in the featured photo. These iced-carved men have been placed in public places all over the world as artistic productions—and carry meanings of political-poetic acts in fights against global warming, standing in solidarity for fallen soldiers, and symbolizing ‘momentary people’ acting together as they melt.
Although I like my ice in soda, what’s melting on the streets of this country, the USA, sits far outside the artistic spectrum for an artist to keep quiet about.
So until next rhyme, bye-bye for now…✍🏾
