Confidence is not synonymous with competence.
No matter how true that statement is, not many people go into conversations with that in mind. No matter how articulate, intelligent, or convincing someone speaks, it’s not until much later that they can uncover someone’s bullshit. Some people are quick-witted. They can manipulate themselves through, or out of a conversation when their knowledge or understanding is tested.
