I wrote a journaling book for the creative minds, aspiring self-starters, and those who walk the road less traveled. To me, it comes off as if I’m writing to my former self. What’s more interesting about this journal, is the amusement I found by writing through the music that inspired the words.
And along with my deepest secrets and thought patterns, I included lyrics.
The muse I found in these songs did it for me…
Or it could be the way a creative, like myself, connects with the artist. However, there are several artists when it comes to breaking down a song’s production; where you have the writer, producer, and performer. In some cases, one artist plays all the roles, which amuses my creative bone.
Over the next 15 blog posts, I’ll be breaking down what songs inspired the writings through the journal. Keep in mind, it’s a writing journal. So like book one of Budd’s Creative Journaling Series, there’s plenty of space for you to write.
