Remember the My Buddy doll? Well, I had one thanks to my Aunt Emma’. Budd is what my family called me growing up. Hansen is wordplay my ex and I played around with. Although she’s not in the picture, I stuck with it because I’m not a quitter. (insert wink face)

Budd Hansen is Terrell’s nom de plume. A pen name arriving at the many junctions of names in my day to day creative nature. Budd, however, or Mr. Hansen, grew up with an imaginary friend. His name, Oomph. And best described as the shadow of a little boy creating vivid dreams throughout the day. As the self-doubter, petty chatter, and all around loser, Oomph like most of us earned a second chance.
When Budd decided it was time to get rid of imaginary friends and try the real world, he did. But flashbacks of the character who he’d known since a child returned in various forms.
Budd writes Oomph’s journey through the parallels of space. He gets a name coined on the other side of the equator—Rigil Anu Banks. It all started stargazing in Brazil last year. Any astronomy enthusiast should have fun with this.
He also gets a book.
Budd writes on Rigil’s behalf by telling his stories through a journaling Trilogy. From areas we’ve yet to define in America—Port Avanti is the 5th dimensional city where he becomes an intellectual beast.
His birth land gone. He only knows of his family through lost journals found on the shores of Port Avanti. But the Atlantic has more than just its uniting waters a void bares to avoid.
What is depression if that’s all you’ve grown to know? Rigil’s journey is questioned by the assumptions of his past characters in society. What is anxiety if your future is unknowingly sold? Rigil’s stories portray how a suffering past becomes the building blocks for a second chance.
Book one of the Divine IX Trilogy will take readers through Rigil’s experience of your people, places, and acclaimed systems which give his life long pillars of happiness eternal purpose—the by-product of self-fulfilling actions.
From rage to riches, Africa’s tribal land to America’s gentrified, his second chance was the becoming of a divine intellect to fuck with your expectations.
What a barrier is for most, are rules waiting to be broken by a few.
