From the place I first wrote you, the space I now type to you, and the home office I’ll later hand-write to you.

To my left are the words you spoke. Grant Park Chicago, IL — ‘This Is Our Moment’, a meaning I oath.

I sent a note in good faith. In hopes of a dream protector, I have no fate. But an infinite degree of choices. With my family, friends, and those who support the voices.

In front of me is Bob Marley on his guitar — “Redemption Song” for this is our moment — here to raise the bar.

A Scarface film review poster hangs to my right. And behind me photos of my past traveling nights. I can’t forget to mention “The Rat Pack” poster, because like a Vegas night it’s a past I forget to move on from like…

The Gulfstream G600 poster was a gift from an old employer. I first dreamt in airplanes but knew I’d first write and find my internal explorer.

Now brave enough to open my heart for the world to see my story; in form of spoken word, photos off the web, creativity for this has bred, and courage to reach you and show how stars spread.

Is this our moment? To breathe not blink, shine not repeat? Create places we can trust and visions of ease? Although I first described my home office in peace, I actually wrote this from a heart which speaks.

Would You Help Fund A Writer, Today?

Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, Budd writes to encourage readers to explore the depths of their inner ocean, an unexplored self, because it's fun once you get through the emotional part... “The world around us is our vehicle, what you'll read is how I digest it.” -Budd
