Dark Path by Hanson Mao

October 31, 2019

Walking your path in faith means knowing an angel awaits you at a check point. Greet them in joy, they’ve been waiting a while.

Your responsibility is putting one foot before the other. The more you do so, the closer you get to the angel who awaits you.

It’s important you learn not to hold on to the angel you greet. For they have others amongst many paths to meet. And for you, you must continue on yours—there’s always a new angel out there.

Away you walk. Guided by inner words of talk. Whispering the last angel’s thought. Move on for here comes a challenge you weren’t taught.

Do not fear the angels in masks—it’s Halloween and you mustn’t ask.

Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, Budd writes to encourage readers to explore the depths of their inner ocean, an unexplored self, because it's fun once you get through the emotional part... “The world around us is our vehicle, what you'll read is how I digest it.” -Budd
