I landed at JFK after my red-eye flight. My Lyft driver dropped me off near John V. Lindsay East River Park.

Next, I’m on Brooklyn’s Bridge. I ran and rapped a Nas song to the People as if I was Brooklyn’s own…

Hell naw, I’m from Portland, Oregon so I blaze and run strong.

Impersonating a Writer as the inspiration is always behind the song.

I chant, so the sun rises with me.

Nine stories told, so the suicidal stories unfold.

Rise and Shine; find me.

From the concrete floor, grew the flower you see in Me.

Who woulda’ thought I’d put it in my book?

For the non-readers to never see the rare steps I took?

Naw, most people are smarter than me.

I just hope they all see the meaning within me. Because I do this as an inspirational thing.

Whatever that means…Maybe change the iconic image of our society’s portrait of me?

That was the Frank Sinatra type call.

Impersonating dreams on New York’s finest bridges and streets.

But that’s my way. Running the cold East River my way. Just after my Jet Blue red-eye flight.

What layover you say? That’s my regular traveling way.

Playing on planes and running near the FDR Parkway.

I dedicate a dream I followed after getting over suicide my way.

But Tom McCall is where I made that call. To self-publish mytrilogy novel after all.

The one I started late fall.

But anyway. Here’s to that story.

Represented by Brooklyn’s Bridge of Glory.

Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, Budd writes to encourage readers to explore the depths of their inner ocean, an unexplored self, because it's fun once you get through the emotional part... “The world around us is our vehicle, what you'll read is how I digest it.” -Budd
